hygger automatic fish feeder can automatically dispense food for your outdoor fish at a scheduled time when you’re away from home, weatherproof, and safe from wildlife. The indicator light turns blue when the device is in manual or automatic feeding. The indicator light keeps flashing when it stops.
Easy-to-read LCD controller with clock
With the built-in controller, this auto fish feeder can program up to 6 feeding times per day, 0–9 portions per time, depending on your preference. Each portion will last for 8 seconds and easy to program. It also has a manual feeding button for instant feeding.
Last up to a few weeks
With a full load of food, the storage bin has a 5.5-liter capacity, which can feed your fish for several weeks, depending on how many fish you have and how big they are. Ideal for 4-10 mm pellets or sticks of food, but not for flake food! It comes with 2 shaped sliders for your feeding requirements. Sliders with dense grooved rings can dispense less food for your fish.
Memory function
The memory function enables the restoration of previous settings.
No Battery Needed
It comes with a 16-foot-long electric wire. No battery and less maintenance are needed. The large feeder measures 20.7″ L × 14.2″ H. The storage food bin measures 10.6″ H × 7″ Dia, which can hold fish food up to 5 lbs.
Designed for a koi pond
This auto feeder requires tools (drill and screwier) to be mounted at the pond’s edge (wooden or stone floor). Constructed with metal and ABS plastic, it is resistant to bad weather. The lid is easy to refill and safe from wildlife.
Directions for Use
1. Fix the base on wooden/stone floor/ceramic tile with screws.
2. Connect the base with the fixed tube.
3. Screw the fixed tube with the bracket.
4. Connect it to a food container.
5. Tighten up the feeder cover and the feed nozzle.
6. Connect it to the controller.
Tips to better use the automatic fish feeder
1. Please don’t submerge the fish feeder underwater.
2. Install the automatic pond feeder base on hard, flat ground, and use a drill to drive 4 screws into the ground.
3. Before you change the screw stem, please make sure the food container is empty, and the feeder is unplugged.
4. The controller’s indicator light will be on when the feeder is in manual feeding or auto-feeding mode; it will flicker when it is not in the feeding mode.
5. The fish food you put into the feeder should not weigh over 5 pounds.
6. Don’t put your hand inside the fish food container.
7. If you want to stop the auto-feeding, please press the “OK” button.
8. About pellet drops: One portion of 6 mm pellets drops approximately 11 grams through a narrow auger, while through a wide auger, it drops 36 grams of food.

I bought the Hygger automatic pond fish feeder in the USA and brought it to Japan. The voltage in Japan is 100 V. The control pad does not light up. Is the voltage insufficient, or is there anything else the problem? Any advice would be appreciated.

This pond fish feeder is very good. I do wish that the connected pipe would lock into place much better than it does. I had to put a set screw to keep it into place. Also wish the storage cap would be a total screw top to secure my food better if it tips over. I had this happen recently. A raccoon tried to get into the feeder and the connected pipe came undone and the cap came off and all the food emptied into my koi pond. Also wish the controller would be waterproofed for that has caused a problem for me. With all this said, I still love this Hygger fish feeder. Luna from Hygger has been incredible helping me purchase a new controller. Luna has been amazing, prompt, polite and again very helpful.
Hello, I have had my Feeder for about 3 years and it has always workrd great. Over the last 5 month I have been hand feeding so I just put the quanity to zero- now the onlt atou Timing I can get to work is the 1st timing at 8am, feeding #2 in the evening not activateing the auger (no power) can I some how reboot the system?

This feeder is very good. We have large Koi so it’s ideal in keeping them fed. I find one feed every two hours is optimum for our fish. As the season gets colder I remove feeds off the schedule. It would be nice to have a wifi upgrade so I could trigger manual feeds during the winter.
Great feeder, but I would like to lessen the amount of feed. The lowest setting is still more than my fish need right now. In the future, as they grow, it will be fine though. Is there any way to shorten the time the auger is on?

How much food is dispensed with a “hand Feed”? and Is there a way to program feeding every second or third day?

Due to COVID-19, there is a late reply.
When you press the “hand feed” button, the amount of food depends on the length of time you press the button. The longer the button is pressed, the larger the amount of food. If you keep holding it down, you will feed all the food in the trough, and even the motor will idle. This button was originally designed for more flexibility in feeding based on your experience, the type, and the number of fish, etc.
Currently, this fish feeder only supports daily recurring programming and cannot be programmed to trigger every two or three days.
