Directions for Use

All the parts of this fish tank water filter are detachable. You can easily assemble them. You can stick the filter firmly to any tank position underwater with the strong suction cup. The water outlet tube can be extended and rotated, you can adjust the outlet to above or below the waterline.

Step 1: Open the ceramic pearls package.
Step 2: Rinse two sponges, the ceramic pearls, and all parts with clean water from the tank. Then soak the two sponges and ceramic pearls in tank water for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Divide the ceramic pearls in half and pour them into the two ceramic pearl containers.
Step 4: Secure the lid to the ceramic pearls container and secure the two sponges to the filter.
Step 5: Install the retractable outlet pipe on the T-connector.
Step 6: Place the filter on the back wall of the aquarium with two suction cups. Make sure the double sponge filter is oriented vertically, otherwise the pipe will be blocked by the ceramic pears.
Step 7: Connect the filter to the air pump with an air tube. The air tube should be equipped with a check valve to prevent the flow-back of water during power failure.
Step 8: Make sure all the connections are firm.
