The hygger DC Aquarium Controllable 24V Quiet Water Pump is a robust DC water pump engineered for various applications, including fish tanks, aquariums, ponds, fountains, mini waterfalls, sumps, hydroponics, and irrigation systems. Built for continuous 24/7 operation, it is designed to last up to 20,000 hours and is suitable for freshwater and saltwater environments.
Low Water Level Compatibility
This water pump is equipped with a unique U-shaped water intake shell, enabling its use in situations with low water levels. It includes two types of removable water intake shells, allowing it to function effectively at the minimum water level of 0.8 inches.
Auto Shut-off
The DC aquarium pump is easy to operate; simply plug it in to activate and unplug it to deactivate. Additionally, it is equipped with an automatic shut-off function that will engage when it detects no water flow or if the water level drops too low, preventing potential damage. The pump includes two types of removable water intake screens: one for normal and another for low water levels, suitable for use when the water level is higher than 0.8 inches.
Adjustable Flow Speed
This DC water pump for aquariums has an external LED display controller with 71 adjustable flow speed settings. This allows you to precisely control the flow rate, ranging from 30% to 100% of the maximum speed, providing customized water movement tailored to your aquarium’s needs.
Versatile Usage Options
The hygger DC water pump is designed for external and internal use in various aquatic environments. It is important to note that the controller is not waterproof and must be placed in a dry, indoor location. This pond pump comes complete with screws, O-rings, and pipe connection fittings, allowing for compatibility with both 1-inch and 3/4-inch pipes.
Durable Construction for Longevity
The hygger DC water pump is built to last with a wear-resistant ceramic shaft and a magnetic drive system, contributing to its extended service life. It is completely free of copper elements, making it suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater applications. If you need 10 10-foot extension cords for the controller and pump, please go to ASIN B08CB69DSF.
Instructions for Use
1. Connect the power and pump cords to the controller.
2. Activate the pump by plugging it into a power source; to deactivate it, simply unplug it from the power.
3. The DC pump will cease operation if the input voltage is too high, there is no water flow, or the impeller is obstructed. To resume operation, re-establish the power connection.
4. If the pump is not pumping water, try unplugging and replugging the power to release any air trapped within the pump. Repeat this process several times until the pump functions properly again.
Instructions for External Controller
1. The controller has Down, Up, and Pause buttons. Pressing the Pause button sets a default stop time of 10 minutes. To cancel this setting, press the “Pause” button again.
2. To lock your settings, long-press the “Pause” button for 3 seconds. The LED will flicker three times to indicate a successful lock. To unlock, perform the same long-press operation.
3. The controller possesses a memory function for the flow rate settings. In a power outage, the controller will automatically revert to the last used settings upon power restoration.
Instructions for Removable Impeller
Our aquarium water pump has a high-performance, long-lasting impeller with a ceramic shaft and magnetic drive, enhancing its lifespan. For safety, the pump is designed to automatically shut off when the water level drops too low, causing the impeller to cease operation. To restart the pump, simply unplug and then replug the power source.
Attachments for the DC Water Pump
The small dimension 800 GPH and 1060 GPH water pump come with the following 8 attachments: 2 screw nuts (1 piece of 1-1/8″, 1 piece of 1-3/8″) + 2 O rings for sealing + 2 rigid pipe connections (1 piece of 3/4″, 1 piece of 1″) + 2 soft tube connections (1 piece of 3/4″, 1 piece of 1″).
The connections are made of ABS, so you can use PVC, PE, or PP pipes for the water pump.
For The Use of The Internal Submersible Pump
1. This water pump’s maximum operating water depth is 5 feet.
2. Regularly inspect and maintain the pump to ensure optimal performance.
3. Do not use the pump with flammable liquids.
4. The pump is designed to operate in water temperatures ranging from 34°F to 95°F.
5. For internal use, ensure the pump is fully submerged in water before connecting it to the power source.
6. Keep the controller in an indoor location.
7. Utilize one of the two provided removable shells to prevent blockages in the pump.
Instructions for Using the External/Inline Water Pump
1. Never operate the pump in a dry state, as it can damage the motor.
2. For external use, ensure the pump body and pipes are filled with water before connecting it to the power source.
3. Secure all nuts and connections tightly to prevent water leaks; consider using additional glue to strengthen the connections.
4. Remember, the controller must be indoors because it is not waterproof.
5. Position the pump below the water level to maintain proper operation.
Error Codes and Troubleshooting
– Er01 – Abnormal Working Current: Please inspect the pump or controller wiring for any short circuits.
– Er02 – Controller Overheat: Ensure the controller is placed in a cool location, away from direct exposure or high temperatures.
– Er03 – Pump Running Dry: Verify that the water level is sufficient to fully submerge the water intake to prevent the pump from running dry.
– Er04 – Propeller Stuck: Check for any obstructions blocking the propeller or for any wiring issues.
– Er05 – Abnormal Input Voltage: Confirm that the power voltage is within the acceptable range of 100 – 240V at 50/60 Hz.
If the “Up,” “Down,” or “Pause” buttons on the controller are unresponsive, the controller may have been accidentally locked. To unlock, long-press the “Pause” button for 3 seconds.
The product was working wonderfully, but then a little glitch occurred with the impeller. Rest assured that Luna from Hygger assisted me with full customer support in resolving this issue. Thank you for your great product and your customer service!! And I look forward to making purchases from you in the future.
We’ve been using the 1350 and the 2600 for over five years. Many of them have been running 24/7, and we have had no issues. When compared to other pumps, these seem much stronger. Not with just flow, but consistent flow. We’ve used them in our pool and our ponds. The variable speed is also awesome and saves energy.
Great service. Timely response time.
