Instructions for Use
This fish tank water filter is designed with detachable parts for easy assembly. The strong suction cup securely attaches the filter to any underwater position on the tank. The water outlet tube is extendable and rotatable, allowing you to direct the flow above or below the waterline.
1. Open the Ceramic Pearls Package.
2. Rinse the two sponges, ceramic beads, and all filter parts with clean water from the tank. Then, soak the sponges and ceramic beads in tank water for 10 minutes.
3. Split the ceramic pearls into two equal parts and pour them into the two designated ceramic beads containers.
4. Secure the lid to the ceramic pearl container and attach the two sponges to the filter.
5. Mount the retractable outlet pipe onto the T-connector.
6. Using two suction cups, place the filter on the back wall of the aquarium. Ensure the double sponge filter is positioned vertically to prevent the ceramic beads from blocking the pipe.
7. Connect the filter to an air pump using an air tube. Ensure the air tube is equipped with a check valve to prevent water backflow in case of power failure.
8. Verify that all connections are secure and tight.
I like this filter have had it for about 2 years. A part may have worn out but customer service was great they sent me a new one once they had all the information right away so now all is up and running smooth again.
If Hygger could make this filter with a magnet attachment instead of suction cups this would be the perfect sponge filter ever..
Hi John, thanks for your kind suggestion, hygger explores progress with you.

I have one in my 20 gal. tank and love. Works great, easy to maintain and clean, quite and easy to use. I just got two to put in my 55 gal tank, and plan on replacing all the filters in all my other tanks with these.
Very calm for my Betta, very quiet, and works well! Betta does not get sucked up to it like he does other filters.
