I have always been a huge fan of Hygger products for my aquarium, and couldn’t wait to get this heater! It was boxed so well, felt like Christmas day opening it! Inside was the heater, the attached control panel, the suction cups with a spare, directions, and the hanging box and a hook. This heater is the 200W version for the 27-53 gallon size and fits perfectly in my 36-gallon bowfront. It’s made for freshwater or saltwater, has the LED digital temperature display, precise temp control of .01degree f., the auto shuts off if exposed to air while plugged in, and reaches a maximum temp. of 93 f, and comes with a 2-year warranty . Installation was a breeze. It immediately told me the current tank temp. and was higher than what I have it set to now at 79 f, so it won’t come on for a while. When it starts heating, it will show a red light. The auto feature is expected and will keep the tank at that exact temperature. The black box can be hidden behind plants or decorations if you choose, I just placed mine in the center for better distribution in the tank since winter will be here soon, so no cold spots.I love this Hygger Black Hole heater, and couldn’t ask for anything better! My old heater is getting cleaned and put in storage.
