hygger full spectrum lighting is helpful for fish and aquatic plant growth and fits all freshwater tanks. The controller is straightforward, with no complicated operation. Suitable for beginners or experienced aquarium hobbyists. The newly upgraded clip-on bracket is easy to install and can be used for different thicknesses of glass.
24/7 Nature Mode
The planted aquarium light has lighting modes that simulate sunrise to night. By default, the lights fade to orange light from 6 am to 8:30 am; fade to white light from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; fade to blue from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm; and stay off the rest of the time. You can also set the light on time to 7 am or 8 am.
High-quality LED & High Color Rendering
Using the high-quality 5050 and SMD2835 LED beads, the light shines directly to the bottom of the tank, making the fish tank more translucent. With 85 CRI, it is close to the natural light, which restores the natural color of fish and aquatic plants. The lamp beads are IP68 waterproof, so no need to worry about falling into the water. Excellent Heat Dissipation, Long Service Life

Usage Tips
1. Due to different usage scenarios, some water vapor may enter the lampshade, which will not affect usage.

This small aquarium light comes packaged in a hygger branded cardboard box with the light, two plastic standoffs, and instructions.
The light uses 5050 and 2835 LEDs which is what I tend to now look for in my aquarium lights as they perform very well and have a nice light that is pretty balanced in color and allow my planted tanks to grow well. The light has plastic standoffs which have screws that tighten down onto the rim of your tank. Mainly this is only good for rimless tanks but if your rim is skinny enough, it might fit over it too.
This light also has an inline controller, as they show in the pictures. It has a timer which you can set for 3, 5, 6, 8, or 12hr intervals. There is a dimmer, a 24hr mode which automatically adjusts the brightness and light depending on the current time, a DIY button to change the RGB independently of the white, and power/color change in one button.
I have multiple hygger lights that I have purchased for my tanks and they all feature this power/color change combo button and it is my least favorite button and the one I use the most. You have to hold this button down to turn the light on and off. But if you accidentally press it or hold it for to little, it will change the color instead of shutting off and you have to then cycle through all of the colors before getting back to the one you want and then have to hold it to turn it off.
Overall, hygger makes excellent aquarium lights but that power/color switching combo button isn’t great if you don’t use the timer functions as you will always be pressing that button. Other than the combo button, it’s a fantastic light.
I chose this 18W light for my 24″ cabomba furcata tank and it is working great, my cabomba furcata is showing a red color today.
