In this mode, the light will send out dim orange at dawn, bright full-spectrum light during the day, and blue light at night.
Once set up, it will automatically turn on and off at the same time daily. The color and intensity of the lights are fixed. The indicator at the top shows the current time range.

Useful & Easy Features:
I have 2 Hygger lights with identical features on separate tanks (one running over 9 months now) and all seems excellent so far. All the lights are still working and the colors / brightness controls are varied and useful. The white/red/blue full spectrum setting seems to help my plants grow while the various other colors are fun once in a while. The timer function is much used and easy as well. Other features are helpful too like auto dimming up and down at start and end of timer settings (which is nice for fish quality of life since the light doesn’t abruptly turn on and off).
Highly Recommended:
All around this light seems solid and useful for a large number of users with many types of needs and comes highly recommended. Affordability is hard to ignore too.
24/7 Natural Mode Very Bright/Long Lasting:
If I were to change one small bit it would be the ability to limit the brightness in the 24/7 Natural mode plus how long it stays on in a day. This mode is attractive because it simulates dawn, midday, sunset, and nighttime lighting. It looks great too and shows fish in a variety of nice looking natural hues. Problem is this mode forces the light to blaze at full brightness for many hours and the whole routine lasts for, I think, 18 hours total. Some plants and fish can’t handle that much light. Also, a lot of light over many hours promotes more algae growth in all tanks planted or otherwise (when having the ability to reduce brightness / amount of time on is a good way to inhibit growth).
Note that it does support control for brightness and a few settings for the number of hours on with the conventional timer mode, but that only gives you one color of light (and not the elegant shifting of natural colors).
The light has a 24/7 function that does a slow sun-up, daylight for the day and then moonlight for a time and off. It’s really very nice and the live plants are growing well under it. The only downside is the instructions on how to set that function appear written by an engineer and then translated to english by an AI bot, but eventually you’ll figure it out.
The bulb in my old hood burnt out so I just pulled that and tied this one inside the hood. Couldn’t be more pleased with it at this point – it’s been running great for a few months now.
I love this light. I stuck it to my fish tank lid and it looks great. The timer is great since I work it helps keep my plants with light and also turn off after 10 hours for algae control. Love the price for a beginner like me. Very happy with my purchase.
This is a great light and I highly recommend it, but I want to know the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) levels for the 8 inch 6 watt and the 15.9 inch 10 watt.
Hi Bob,
The 8 inch 6W has a 30.6 PAR, and the 15.9 inch 10W has a 35.9 PAR.

Is this safe to use under water in a saltwater tank (refugium)?
From what material are the outer components made (is there any metal)?
Great light so far!
Hi Michael Heinrich,
Yep, the light is made by PC and can be applied to various freshwater tanks and saltwater tanks.
Thanks
