Why You’ll Love It
Customers appreciate the 978 LED light’s brightness, simple timer function, and color options. They find it provides good lighting with gradual brightness that mimics natural sunrise-sunset lighting. The 24/7 functionality works well, and the indicator LEDs are color-coded to confirm the setting. Many consider it a great value for the money.

2 Light Modes are Available
This LED fish tank light provides 2 modes to light up fish:
1. Default mode (24 /7 natural mode)
Gradient Orange light (sunrise) from 6 am to 8 am;
Gradient White light from 8 am to 6 pm;
Gradient Blue light (moonlight) from 6 pm to 10:50 pm;
The LED lights are off in other periods.
In this natural mode, the light slowly wakes up by emitting dim orange light at dawn, bright full spectrum light during the day, and blue light at night.
Once it is set up, the fish tank light will automatically turn on and off simultaneously every day. The light color and intensity are fixed. The indicator light at the top of the hour indicates the current time range. You can press the 24/7 button once to choose 8:00; the indicator light is red.
Please note that the 6-time points on the controller are used as a reference for the first running time setting. In other words, the overall default period can be delayed or advanced.
2. DIY mode
In DIY mode, time + color + brightness can be set.
Setting time (Timer key): There are 3 choices of lighting time–6 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours;
Brightness (Up /Down key): 5 kinds of brightness.
Color (On-Off / M key): White, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Orange, Cyan.
New Upgrade Fish Tank Light
This LED light is waterproof and easy to clean and wipe, there is no need to worry, even if it falls into the water briefly. With the separable adapter, there is no need to replace the whole light even if it is damaged. The extendable bending bracket can be adjusted in length and can be applied to various freshwater tanks. The upgraded thickened aluminum increases heat dissipation efficiency.
High-quality LED Aquarium Light
The fish light is soft, and the color rendering index is close to natural light and protects the eyes and fish. Using high-quality 2835 + 5050 model lamp beads, it has a long service life of at least 50,000 hours.
Adjustable timer & brightness
Its lighting mode can be adjusted to 9 stages of brightness (10% – 25% – 50% – 75% – 100% – 75% – 50% – 25% – 10%).

Hands off efficient and excellent grow light. Well worth the money 24/7 mode is awesome, set and forget about messing with it again. Fish love the sunrise to sunset to night mode and the best is it turns itself off and back on every day! My plants are growing to fast.
Wanted the Fluval 3.0 but couldn’t justify its lofty price tag…$200 – 300. This light is a great alternative. I use the 24 hour cycle mode and my plants and fish both seem too like it. Although it doesn’t have an app to control settings ect, if you just need a plant light that can penetrate down to the substrate than this light cannot be overlooked at the price of $60.
The finnex light I had for my plants died unexpectedly. I was looking for a quick replacement, I don’t have any extremely demanding plants and so far it seems fine. I’m using the 24/7 option. I have a crazy schedule and feel like this option gives my fish atleast a little bit of normal day cycle & easier transitions. It unfortunately did arrive damaged, hygger offered a small credit for the damage or a return. Fits my 55 gallon well. I like the low profile. I’ll have to see how plants fair long term.
Absolutely love this light. It’s so easy to use and it’s bright and beautiful in color. Mine, for some reason shorted out about five months in, but I contacted the company and spoke with Luna and they had a new one sent to me within two days of me sending the email. Great customer service, great product. Very happy and highly recommend this product!!
Compared many led systems to me the Hygger units are the best!!!! I will even compare them to the Fynex plant series which is a more expensive price point. Customer for life,I would love to evaluate new systems for the company,hint lol
This light is the best I had so far! I love the 24 7 automatic. Light slowly comes on at 7:30 am & in moonlight mode at 7 pm, & off at 10pm.My fish & plants are thriving.
But Why 0600 am??? Where do i change that to like 0900 am
But Daniel, the default light automatically turns on at 6:00 a.m. and turns off at 22:30 p.m., but it depends on the time section you choose. For example, in the time section, if you choose the ‘6:00’ option at 9:50 a.m., it will turn off at 22:20 that day. The next day, it will turn on at 7:50 a.m.

so far all lights i’ve had are great quality, I currently have them on 60cm, 90cm, 120cm and 150cm tanks, the only aquarium I can’t use the lights on is my 2m aquarium or i’d have to get 4x 90cm lights to illuminate it fully. so Hygger, if you’d be able to make a full spectrum led light for 2m (6ft 7″?) or at least have an option to put 4 lights on one power adapter and one remote, that’d be amazing.
Hi Bob Pieters, thank you for your suggestion.
