Ideal for Customizing Filtration
The hygger fish waste collector filter consists of two distinct components: water inlet and outlet pipe fittings. This modular system requires an additional bottom container filled with filter media and a water pump, making it ideal for customizing filtration in long or large-sized aquariums. It also allows for flexibility in matching with sump tanks to accommodate a variety of filter materials in different types and quantities.
Filtration Process
1. Impurities and dirty water are drawn through the pipe, while the oil film remover captures oil and debris on the water surface.
2. Some impurities settle into the collection chamber, which can be expelled by opening two dedicated valves.
3. The remaining dirty water is directed to a bottom container filled with filter media for further purification (filter media not included).
4. A water pump within the bottom filter container circulates the water (pump not included).
5. The filtered water is returned to the aquarium through the upper water inlet pipe.

Instructions for Use
Operation Tips:
1. Impurity Generation: Impurities and fish food waste are naturally produced within the aquarium.
2. Sedimentation and Suction: These impurities sink to the bottom of the tank where they are sucked away by the collector.
3. Stainless Steel Mesh Filtration: A 304 stainless steel mesh intercepts some of the larger particle impurities.
4. Settling Process: The larger particles then proceed to the sedimentation box.
5. Outlet Valve Discharge: Finally, a rotating outlet valve is used to discharge the water containing the impurities.
