on the top side of the box it says that it’s recommended to use a 5W air pump, but on the side it also says “please use enough air volume of th air pump (about 2W air pump) to carry the air disk.” So which do I have to use the 2W or 5W air pump?

For different size of the nano air diffuser, 2W air pump for the S model diffuser, and the 5W air pump for the L model.

which way does the check valve go? big end towards pump or filter? does it have an intake and an output end?
